Shalom Mountain & Fly-Fishing Lodge is located in the heart of Dullstroom Country Estate, surrounded by the true beauty of God's gifts. Only the mist and the sound of your line interrupt the evening bird calls as you cast. It's a paradise for bird-watchers, a challenge for fly-fishermen and an opportunity for all to enjoy the beauty of the misty Mpumalanga highlands. At Shalom we not only offer tranquility, but also luxurious and modern open spaces, a play room for kids, & entertainment for adults. You'll be sure to have ample of entertainment for everyone to enjoy. Shalom Lodge is equiped to sleep 8-10 people.

What does Shalom Offer?

At Shalom Mountain & Fly-Fishing Lodge we aim to offer a space that feels like home away from home. When we envisioned Shalom, we wanted to create a place that caters to everyone's needs. Being travelling parents of 2 toddlers, we always end up searching for places where our kids can be entertained, but also where mom and dad can kick back and relax. Shalom offers JUST THAT! Whether you want to melt into the bean bags with a book, have a nice South African Braai, play board games or just watch the game on the big screen, we offer all that. What about the kids you ask? We've got them covered. With our fully equiped kids lounge, they'll be entertained for hours and you can still keep an eye on them with Shalom Lodge being open planned.

Shalom offer two King Bedrooms, with an one bedroom offering a camping cot as extra, and another room offering an additional single sleeper couch. Our other Two bedrooms are each equiped with 2x three quarter beds, which can also be adjusted to king beds if arranged prior. Each bedroom offers their own full en suite bathrooms and patio leading outdoor. Our entertainment areas offers an Adult Lounge with big screen smart TV and entertainment, a Kids lounge with smart TV and entertainment, a fully equiped kitchen with a washing machine, tumble dryer and dishwasher, a large fireplace and a 12-seater dining table. Outside there is an outdoor covered braai area with a hanging pod chair and additional dining table seating 8 people. The Estate also offers a swimming pool for the warm sunny days.
